Olaf Court

Project Description

Perched above an existing apartment building on Kensington Church Street, Olaf Court is a compact but high-profile scheme delivering two new penthouse homes finished to an exceptional standard, with panoramic views across London. T & T Roofing Limited delivered the roofing package for Mayer Construction over 12 weeks, completing in June 2024, with a contract value of £80,000.

The specified manufacturer was Bauder, with the waterproofing scope comprising flame-free SBS bituminous felt systems to main roof areas, reflecting the strict health and safety requirements associated with dense urban environments and sensitive surroundings. The works also included green roof systems, providing both performance benefits and enhanced visual finish at roof level, while ensuring durable protection beneath the build-up.

The project’s primary constraint was logistics. Deliveries and access were managed in a busy Kensington location with limited working space and strict controls, only a short distance from Kensington Palace. This required disciplined sequencing, careful material handling and strong site management to maintain programme while minimising disruption.

Although modest in area, Olaf Court demanded high technical precision and finish quality. The completed roof systems provide a robust, compliant waterproofing solution that supports premium residential accommodation and demonstrates T & T Roofing Limited’s ability to deliver specialist roofing works in constrained, prestige urban locations where workmanship and professionalism are under constant scrutiny.
