Health & Safety
Health and safety is a core operational priority at T & T Roofing Limited, guiding how we plan, manage, and deliver roofing works on commercial, residential, and public-sector projects. We are committed to protecting our workforce, clients, building users, and the wider public while delivering projects safely and efficiently.
We operate in full compliance with UK health and safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM). Our health and safety management systems are independently assessed, and we hold SMAS accreditation, demonstrating alignment with recognised industry standards and best practice.
Prior to commencement, project-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are prepared to address key risks associated with flat roofing works, including working at height, fragile surfaces, hot works, manual handling, and the safe use of materials and equipment. Control measures are clearly communicated and reviewed throughout the duration of the works.
We place strong emphasis on site security, access control, and safeguarding on occupied commercial and public-sector sites, with additional care taken on residential projects to protect occupants, neighbours, and visitors. All operatives and subcontractors are appropriately trained, competent, and qualified, supported by regular site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training.
Health and safety is a shared responsibility at every level of the business, supported by proactive management, clear leadership, and a positive safety culture. Our objective is consistent: to deliver projects safely, responsibly, and in full compliance with the highest industry standards.
