Neptune Wharf

Project Description

Rising within Deptford’s continuing regeneration, Neptune Wharf is a landmark residential scheme that contributes a distinctive new presence to the South London skyline. T & T Roofing Limited delivered the flat roofing works for Galliard Homes over a 40-week programme, completing in June 2023, with a contract value of £1,650,000 across approximately 6,000 m². The project later achieved industry recognition with a nomination at the NFRC awards, reflecting the standard of delivery and finish achieved.

The waterproofing solution utilised Carlisle Construction Materials, specifically Carlisle Arboflex PU cold-applied liquid waterproofing, selected to suit complex roof detailing and performance requirements without reliance on hot works. Roof areas were subsequently finished with green roof build-ups, requiring disciplined sequencing and a strong focus on protecting completed waterproofing once overlaid. In line with best practice on covered roofs, all areas were electronically tested prior to green roof installation to verify integrity before they became inaccessible.

The sheer scale of the scheme demanded exceptional logistics control. Large volumes of insulation, waterproofing components and green roof materials were delivered to site over extended periods, including intensive delivery phases requiring precise coordination to maintain programme. Neptune Wharf demonstrates T & T Roofing Limited’s capacity to deliver large, technically demanding liquid waterproofing packages with rigorous quality control and high-volume site logistics.
