Lambeth Palace

Project Description

Lambeth Palace presented a distinctly different type of project for T & T Roofing Limited, requiring work within one of London’s most historically significant and operationally sensitive buildings.

The roofing works were delivered using a combination of Sika single ply membrane systems and Sika liquid-applied waterproofing, carefully detailed to suit the existing building fabric and heritage constraints. All works were undertaken while the Palace remained fully operational, with occupants in residence throughout the programme.

A measured and respectful approach was essential, with careful management of access, noise, sequencing and protection of surrounding areas. Installation methods and materials were selected to provide modern waterproofing performance while remaining sympathetic to the historic setting.

The completed works deliver a durable, technically compliant roofing solution that respects both the heritage and continued use of the building. Lambeth Palace demonstrates T & T Roofing Limited’s capability to operate successfully on sensitive, live sites, balancing technical delivery with discretion, planning and professionalism in a uniquely demanding environment.
