Kingsgate House

Project Description

T & T Roofing Limited completed the roofing refurbishment package at Kingsgate House on King’s Road, Chelsea, delivering a high-performance warm roof solution across approximately 400 m² of roof area. The specified build-up comprised a self-adhesive vapour control layer, mechanically fixed tapered insulation to create designed falls, and the application of the Sika Decothane Ultra liquid waterproofing system to provide a seamless and durable finished surface backed by a performance guarantee.

The project was delivered within a 12-week programme on a live occupied residential building in a prominent London location, requiring careful planning, access management and coordination with residents and the wider project team. Kingsgate House is a notable affordable housing development on King’s Road, and the completed works formed part of ongoing improvement measures to enhance long-term performance and weatherproofing to the existing building. Working with Higgins Partnerships was a positive experience throughout. Strong organisation, clear communication and proactive site management helped ensure the works were delivered efficiently and to the required standard.
