Project Description

Eclipse forms part of the wider Blackhorse Lane regeneration area in Walthamstow and represents one of T & T Roofing Limited’s earlier large-scale residential developments within London.

The flat roofing works were delivered using a Sika single ply membrane system, providing a lightweight, durable waterproofing solution to the main roof areas. In addition to the core roofing package, T & T Roofing Limited also completed the hard landscaping across all communal external spaces, including planters, slabbing and artificial grass, forming an integrated external works package.

Careful sequencing was essential to ensure the integrity of the waterproofing system was fully protected prior to the installation of overburden and landscaped finishes. Particular attention was given to detailing at interfaces between roofing, podium areas and communal walkways to maintain long-term performance beneath trafficked and landscaped zones.

The completed works provide residents with high-quality communal spaces underpinned by a robust roofing system, supporting both functionality and aesthetics. Eclipse demonstrates an early example of T & T Roofing Limited’s ability to deliver combined roofing and external works packages, integrating waterproofing with public-realm finishes on complex residential regeneration schemes.
